Home as Space
PRIVATE HOME ADVISORY
Sotheby’s International Realty
Home is sacred.
A home holds the rhythms of our lives—the light we wake to, the table where we gather, the quiet corners where we retreat, and the land beneath our feet.
The spaces we inhabit shape how we feel, how we relate, and how we remember who we are.
Finding Home
My journey from China to Silicon Valley has been one of moving between cultures, landscapes, and ways of life—and, along the way, finding home within myself again and again.
Perhaps this is why I have never experienced real estate as simply a transaction.
For more than a decade, I have walked alongside clients through some of life’s most personal transitions—finding a place to begin, choosing where to raise a family, and knowing when it is time to release a home that has held years of memories.
Finding a home is deeply personal. So is leaving one.
A home may hold a chapter of our lives, but it does not have to hold us there. Sometimes moving forward begins by honoring what a place has given us, and allowing it to become home for someone new.
I listen first.
How do you want to live? What matters to you now? What are you ready to move toward?
A Different Way of Working
A home is both deeply personal and profoundly practical.
My background in financial management, cross-cultural psychology, and more than a decade in Silicon Valley real estate allows me to hold both.
For buyers, this means looking beyond what is immediately visible—understanding value, land, location, risk, and whether a property truly supports the life they want to create.
For sellers, it means understanding the distinctive value of what they have created, positioning it with intention, and presenting it to the right audience with discretion and care.
In both, I pay close attention to market dynamics, property condition, negotiation, privacy, and the details that protect my clients’ interests.
But I also pay attention to what cannot always be measured—the feeling of the land, the rhythm of a neighborhood, privacy and light, and the qualities that make one home unlike any other.
My approach is personal, discerning, and deeply discreet. I believe the best representation comes from listening closely, seeing what others may overlook, and navigating each decision with clarity and care.
Because a home is never simply an acquisition—or an asset to be sold.
It is a place where life has taken root, and from which another chapter can begin.
